Bishop Henry A. Moultrie, II is the Pastor and Founder of the Mission Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Somerville, Massachusetts where he has been preaching and teaching the unadulterated Word of God. He holds an unwavering commitment to a high standard of holiness. From a Northeastern University campus ministry of eight souls, the Lord has blessed the Mission Church as a thriving. Vibrant, Holy Ghost filled saving station where souls come in, are baptized, saved and become true worshippers in the body of Christ. Twelve sons of Mission Church under his pastoral ministry have established churches throughout the United States and abroad. He is a prayer warrior and intercessor as well as a man of sacrifice, humility, vision and integrity.

Bishop Moultrie was appointed to the Board of Apostles of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. headquartered in New York City in 2005. He serves as the Apostle of Administrative Affairs, the Regional Apostle of the Northeast Region, and presiding Bishop of the Massachusetts Western Diocese. He also served two terms as Chairman of the International Board of bishops from 1998 to 2004. Bishop Moultrie was the chairman of the COOLJC Executive Office Finance Committee and served as Bishop to Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies and to the State of Kansas. He is an anointed speaker and teacher throughout the United States and abroad.

He has been happily married to Mother Dyanne E. Moultrie, Church Mother and co-founder of the Mission Church. Bishop and Mother Moultrie are the proud parents of one daughter, Sherrie M. Green, and loving grandparents of two beautiful granddaughters, Janae Dyanne and Ava Vonceil Green.

Bishop Moultrie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A & T State University, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University, and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree. As an ROTC Distinguished Graduate he was commissioned an officer in the U.S.Air Force. Bishop Moultrie is an honorably discharged Captain and Vietnam Veteran. Prior to becoming a full time pastor in 1974, he held electrical engineering positions in Virginia and Massachusetts and taught Business Administration at Northeastern University’s School of Business in Boston.

Mother DyAnne E. Moultrie

 

 

Mother DyAnne E. Moultrie was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost at Mount Calvary Church in Petersburg, Virginia in 1970 where Apostle Wesley M. Taylor is Pastor. After relocating to Boston, she began a Bible class on the campus of Northeastern University where she was employed as a Dorm Director. Under the ministry of Minister Moultrie, this led to the inception of Mission Church.


In addition to her role as church “Mother”, she functions in a multitude of capacities at Mission Church. She established the Missionary Auxiliary in 1975 and served as its President for many years. She is currently the Women’s Department Director and serves as Administrative Advisor to many departments. She is an Adult Sunday School teacher and a member of the Golden Age Guild. She is past President of the MDWG and former Director of the Music Department. She is an organist and has directed many of the church choirs. She has organized, directed and overseen many church initiatives including Vacation Bible School, the Nehemiah Building Fund Campaign and other significant church events.

Mother Moultrie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, NC. It was there she also participated in civil rights activities. These were valuable experiences she would share with younger generations. She obtained a Master of education Degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and was a Licensed Certified Social Worker in Massachusetts for over 30 years.
